The Arduino UNO is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analogue inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

Important:
This item is an Arduino Uno R3 board, and functions in the exact same way as the original from the Arduino foundation. No drivers are needed for the Uno R3 if you are using a Mac OSX or Linux distribution as your operating system, however, any windows system requires a .inf file to be compatible (the windows .inf file comes pre-packaged in the standard Arduino programming software).
Please note that to ensure you are having the best experience with your product, please update your Arduino software to the latest version to ensure compatibility.
